The Pocket Faeries are very excited to be at the Faerie Festival to meet and greet you! Many have flown in from magickal places, just to be at this joyous celebration! We will be near the entrance, on the right side of the main path as you come into the festival. All children ages 3-12 will get a special ticket when they come through the entrance and the Pocket Fae will trade a ticket for a treasure.

Some of the Pocket Fae have sprite assistants to help them give out their treasures.

There are many Pocket Faeries. Each one is a very special faerie and each one has stories and tales to tell. The Pocket Faeries will be at the Pocket Fae area all day, with different faeries throughout the day. Many Pocket Fae have traveled far and wide to find treasures to give to children. They will be marching in the Children's Parade each day at 2:30, starting at the May Pole. All children are welcome to join them.

Merryiad is a Rainbow Faerie. She has many interests and has travelled far and wide around the world, collecting many trinkets and many stories. Because she is a faerie of many colors, she will sometimes wear earthy greens because the Earth is her friend, silvery whites like the stars and the moon, or a skirt of many colors with small bells attached.

Merryiad loves animals, trees and flowers. She also loves music and likes to frolic in the meadows when white clouds dance in the sky. When you see Merryiad, she may be dark like the night sky or bright as the sunshine. Merryiad likes to surprise people, as she is just like the rainbow and will pick a different color for a different day.
