All You Are, My Friends and Inspirations
The Winter enshrouds the Earth,it's silent Beauty hides the Promise
of Renwewal of Earth, there flies to me,in my need,my Wonderful fairy
friends, my kin,my help, they fill grey days, with gladness and hope, and
one ,she calls to me,her name is OrangeMarjorie, and sings this ballad,to
lift me high,"Remember,we are all connected,to each other, alweyas
see the best in life, always know that life is good, and when no one
else understands,we are ever your Friends, ever your Friends and
Inspirations"

The Faerie Ring
Out of the air, a voice starts to sing
At moonrise, up on the Faerie Ring.
Then one by one the Faeries appear,
The singing grows sweeter as midnight draws near.
As the moon glows full and midnight strikes,
The faerie queen comes, down from the heights,
With stars in her eyes and flowers in her hair
She floats down like an angel through the still night air.
Then the festival begins, they dance and sing,
On midsummer night at the Faerie Ring,
And their Lady dances in the midst of the circle,
Twinkling in the starlight like a gossamer jewel.
And now it ends, as the sun begins to rise,
The Queen fades and vanishes like smoke before their eyes,
And the Faeries fall silent, disappearing one by one,
Leaving no trace under the warm morning sun.

Fairy Dancing
by Tanya Dawn
Misty hazes float over the emptiness of my mind
As I close my tear filled eyes to finally find
A quiet place where fairies dance
Under a purple moon they have a chance
For there, their love can freely be made
In a trembling embrace their bodies boundaries fade
The movement of their love sends them afloat
On the clouds like the seas carry a boat
Come and feel the Fairies Dancing,
Love is blooming, keep romancing
They glow in ecstasy that shines down
Upon the flowers that dot the mossy ground
They dance in circles in the sky
Their lips united, facing eye to eye.
Arms embracing each others soul
Wings a flutter as time takes its toll
When they reach that enchanted peak
The ground below is what they seek
Come and feel the Fairies Dancing,
Love is blooming, keep romancing
Lying naked side by side
Blanketed in the moon light shadow tide
Breezes cool them with misty dew
From the passing clouds, though few
They slumber in their love, content
The passionate love thats heaven sent
Trees keep watch, encircling the lovers
And that is where my dream hovers
Come and feel the Fairies Dancing,
Love is blooming, keep romancing
Watch them as they fade away
And the purple moon gives way
Only to awake in the same old way
That Ive lived for many a yesterday

Sunray
By Meadowlark Fairie
Sprinkle gentle Sunray
upon my face;
Whisper your secrets
my sorrows erase.
Shower me Sundew
your touch like a kiss;
When twilight comes
little Sunray I miss.

Tour of the Fairie Habitat
By Lavender Joy
Fairies are cute as cute can be
They live in the woods where no one can see
They ride on rabbits and on mice.
In winter they skate on a puddle of ice.
They wear flower petals for clothes.
Some make a home inside a rose.
In summer they ride in a buttercup boat.
In winter they wear a pussy willow coat.

Maypole, A.
By Swift, Jonathan .
1725
Deprived of root, and branch and rind,
Yet flowers I bear of every kind:
And such is my prolific power,
They bloom in less than half an hour;
Yet standers-by may plainly see
They get no nourishment from me.
My head with giddiness goes round,
And yet I firmly stand my ground:
All over naked I am seen,
And painted like an Indian queen.
No couple-beggar in the land
E'er joined such numbers hand in hand.
I joined them fairly with a ring;
Nor can our parson blame the thing.
And though no marriage words are spoke,
They part not till the ring is broke;
Yet hypocrite fanatics cry,
I'm but an idol raised on high;
And once a weaver in our town,
A damned Cromwellian, knocked me down.
I lay a prisoner twenty years,
And then the jovial cavaliers
To their old post restored all three -
I mean the church, the king, and me.

Belief in Majik - Dragonfly Reel
The Elves of fire, they all fly higher
In flicker and in flame
Beware the red, don't lose your head
Fire elves are hardest to tame
The Elves of gold, in days of old
Brought wisdom to the land
So listen well, the words will tell
The way to take their hand
(chorus)
For Belief in the Majik beats within their hearts
And Belief in the Majik sets their souls apart
In the realm of the Faerie's where you'll find their 'kin
So Believe in the Majik and they'll let you in
The Elves of green are seldom seen
In city and in town
But in the wood, they find it good
To dance and gather 'round
The Elves of blue all take their cue
From deep beneath a pool
They dive and splash, and in a flash
They bless the waters cool
(chorus)
They Elves of grey aren't seen by day,
It's to the moon they sing
When evening falls, you'll hear their call
Inside a Faerie ring
The darkest Elves stay by themselves
So deep beneath the ground
Their sad, sweet song plays all night long
Inside a barrow mound
(chorus)
In Light and air, oh, everywhere!
The Faerie Folke do live
Keep heart and mind both open wide
For the blessings that they will give
(chorus)
The Elves of fire, they all fly higher
In flicker and in flame
Beware the red, don't lose your head
Fire elves are hardest to tame
The Elves of gold, in days of old

Noah Deah Meets the Faeries
written by JoAnn Martin
A fine young lad on his yarrow steed
stops near a rock in a wooded glen
to rest and drink from a spouting spring
beside wildflowers. As he gazes about,
the ferns and trees sway and dance
to a wind only they can feel.
Then comes the Green Man
with his consort and followers, father of the trees,
entwined, uprooted, leader of the frolics,
grantor of this spring day's revels.
Ah, the faeries and sprites -- Bibi of black wing,
iridescent Hyacinth, coy Columbine!
The jongleurs and musicians playing bodhrain and pipe,
leading the wind-dance of the faeries.
Bibi, looking 'round, sees the lad so near
on his grassy recline.
"Kubiando," she greets him, and beckons her wave.
"Kubiando, come join us, partake of our glee."
She leads him, unknowing, delighted, besotted,
to her Dark Faerie Realm to carefully place him
among her other treasures so fine.
Beware, ye lads of the woods in spring
when Beltaine fires flam and faeries dance,
and the wind whispers, "Kubiando."

Felicia fairy
Once upon a time there were only fairies. They were called the
beautiful creatures of the earth. Years later on one couples anniversary
a small fairy was born people swore that she looked magical and
would grow up a sweet little girl. Ten years past and that little
girl turned into a beautiful little girl. She had red hair, freckles,
green eyes, and wings that were as beautiful as a rainbow after
a spring shower. They really sparkled in the sunlight. She lived
in a very huge palace that was guarded by two dumb guards name Bruno
and Bronto. The were really dumb, but did their job well. Just south
of Felicia's castle there was a place called the "four log fairy
outlet." It was called this because there were four logs put together
like peas in a pod. Her friends parents own the outlet. She could
get in free since her best friends mother owned that land. Most
of the fairies that lived near her friend had only one or two powers
available to them, but Felicia had three powers which was the power
to move objects, make things grow, and ability to control the weather.
These were all good powers and she always used them. She was truly
special and was aware it. One day she was running through the house
and accidentally knocked over her mothers ancient China plates.
Her mother was furious. She ordered Felicia to go right to her room.
Felicia was very upset and decided to run away, tears ran down her
checks. That night she went to the forbidden place. It was called
the Outside Lands. It has been said that the outside lands was filled
with gray sticks, stones and sand with no signs of life anywhere;
and that no fairy should enter or they would be breaking the code.
Felicia wanted to get even with her mother so she left to make her
mother worry. After a while, about 2 hours she came back and noticed
everyone had been turned to stone and all the colors had left the
forest. She ran screaming, tripped and fell over a log on the gray
ground. She felt responsible for what has happened and told herself
she was going to fix what she had messed up. She flew thunderously
up in the sky to the nearest waterfall and with her powers she threw
the last rainbow of color on the forest and then all was fine and
well again. She notice that there were new things in the forest,
she named them animals. And that's how forest and animal became
what they are today.

An Elders Nature Poem
Joy in seeing the trees dance
In the swaying of the Willow
Branches moving back and forth
Dreaming, soon asleep on a pillow.
The magical coloring of leafs
So beautiful this time of year
Next month they will be gone
Openness to viewing herds of deer.
To watch the squirrels gather nuts
Hiding them in so many places
With their memory soon to forget
Hoarding to feed many faces.
The fuzzy little caterpillars
Crawling upon the earth
In colors of red, gold and black
Of what Winter will give at her birth.
The calling of turkey in the distance
Knowing it is not nesting time
It is the hunters that are chasing
If not to eat, that is a crime.
The geese hurrying to their destination
The honking and flying in a long V
They teach us about working together
And what beauty that would be.
The turtles slide into the mud
Creating new faces for Spring
They will poke them out of hiding
So independent, they don't cling.
Changes of sun and clouds
Coldness, the earth to fall asleep
The miracle of natures survival
Secrets of Mother to keep.
The coldness and gusts of the rain
To be changing to snow very soon
Tracks of scurrying small animals
Using the light of the moon.
Wherever you walk on this earth
Be at Peace in all Seasons
Respect all life everywhere
Your own survival is the reason.

Three Hearts
The Fairies of Spoutwood
Light and love in the air
Hugging and laughter
Can be found everywhere
Given some precious land
Upon which to frolick and play
The rich earth in our hand
As we joyfully plant away
Playing in the Wildones garden
Such fun to be among friends
Our appearance please pardon
Soiled knees on which we bend
Donations of plants with love
We don't turn any natives away
Garden naturally watered from above
Plants flourish and wish to stay
Curved mulched path to walk
Under sun or shaded willow tree
Decisions on flowers we talk
Plants of the future to be
Two natural benches to sit upon
Gazing, listening to the streams flow
Feeling the calmness and peace
Surrounding us as the plants grow
Did you feel the earths magic
While taking a carefree stroll
Wonderous journey through the garden
For it is free, never to pay a troll
To feel the life and joy of nature
Letting the beauty of what you see
Start growing to help the environment
Removing invasives, only Natives to be
This poem is lovingly dedicated to All

As One
We are as one,
United by the power of pipes and drum.
River, Woodland, Mountain, Meadow
We are as one,
United by love of Earth and Place,
Full of joy and free of hate.
Fueled by the power of pipes and drum,
within my heart, you are as one.
Love within me burns fiery and pure.
For this I know there is no cure.
My people, my family
We are as one!
United by the power of pipes and drum.

Bonny Wee Lad |

A Bonny Wee Lad
The Fae were merrily dancing around the Maypole
With the cool Spring breezes of misty rain
Few moments of sun shine dancing a long
A Bonny wee lad came skipping through again
Stopping this time in the WildOne's Pavilion
Cheerfully asking for two containers of Lady bugs
The wee lad was not only entering the garden
He began playing our heartstrings with his gentle tugs
We watched as he walked quietly along the garden path
Choosing the spot of freedom for his Lady bug release
Silently sitting down crosslegged in the damp soft mulch
Tenderness from this wee lads heart did not cease.
He lovingly spoke to the Lady Bugs and patiently waited
Slowly they climbed out on to his finger of love
He carefully guided them to their new home of a leaf
Gently sheltering them from the wind gusts from above
The bonny wee lad quietly sat and his spirit beamed
Giving a home to the Lady bugs and seeing them free
He looked up with a smile handing me the empty containers
Asking me to please recycle them and I nod to agree
Having no idea how he was touching those watching
The bonny wee lad skipped happily a long his way
We cried a few tears of joy in seeing this young heart
Sharing his love for nature on this beautiful May Day.

Kubiando is a Greeting
Should you happen to meet
A friend to greet,
You might exchange "Kubiando"
It's a blessing, we've heard
And a magical word,
Or just a simple "hello"
Like a verbal embrace,
Or a stretch into space,
Reaching arms to the sun
It is a moment in time,
Like a song or a rhyme,
And meant just to be fun.
When I look in your eyes
And we recognize
there is soul deep connection,
When we take the chance
To join in the dance,
we experience perfection.
When we speak from the heart
And are sad to part
Kubiando sounds just right.
So, say "Kubiando!"
Where ever you go,
Morning, noon and night.
